Natural Menopause

About

“Menopause is an invitation to come on the mother of all road trips. To drop the baggage and the bullshit. Take the wheel and get real.  Turn the music up. Feel the wind in your face, the freedom of the open road and trust your intuition.  Embrace the changes, mourn the losses, welcome it all with the power of agency. Feel it. Know it. Live it. Love it!”

Who I am

Meet the Menopause Whisperer, Belinda Rennie, qualified Nutritionist, certified Biofeedback and smartDNA Practitioner with a Post Graduate Diploma in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (Melbourne) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement).

I see the beauty and light inside each woman, the capacity to author her own story for the menopause transition. Your process, your story will be unique to you. I gently guide you to nourish, rest, move, breathe and connect with yourself accessing your body’s innate ability to heal. Honouring seasonal changes through the wisdom of Ayurveda, and menstrual cycle awareness I help you reclaim your feminine power.

With over 30 years experience both overseas and in Australia working in women’s health, nutrition and hormone balance, I base my practice, Natural Menopause, in the lush hills of Currumbin Valley on the Gold Coast. I live with my partner and the comings and goings of my young adult daughters.

Why it works

We need a new language to live this time of our lives by that is not about doom and gloom or about combat or pushing the body. Yes, we face aging and our mortality and a sh*it load of painful symptoms of menopause (puberty in reverse) plus all the responsibilities of midlife; aging parents, relationships in flux, financial and family stress. We can live this time another way.

Embracing inner autumn and winter of life, we can reframe the menopause journey to be life giving not energy sapping. What the body is crying out for is a deeper relationship with self, embodied in tenderness and care. We carve out time and space for deep nourishment, kindness, softness and healing.

Walking through the portal of menopause has the potential to be healing and with any major life transition like pregnancy, needs time for adjustment, rest and repair. It’s a time to let go of the old story, retell it with a new voice that integrates all of who you are. Time to unleash your creativity, embrace life and rediscover the joy and pleasure of being woman. It is big, beautiful work.

“Doesn’t everything die at last and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”
